In just six weeks time, 43 European delegations are coming together in Stockholm hoping to win the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest. As usual, we are reviewing all of the entries, Europe’s been picking over the last few months. Stockholm arena Globen to host Eurovision 2016 

  Swedish broadcaster SVT has announced Stockholm as the 2016 host city of Eurovision. 

The annual European music event will be held from May 9 to May 15 with a total of 40 nations expecting to take part. 

The venue, the Globen arena,played host to the contest in 2000 once, giving Stockholm the right to host the contest for the second time. 

Sweden has won the Eurovision Song Contest six times to date, thanks to Mans Zelmerlow’s victory in Vienna six weeks ago. The contest was organised in Malmo two years ago, after Loreen won with Euphoria.
