In more recent times, long life Emeli Sande collaborator Naughty Boy has gathered more attention for his twitter feuds with former and current One Direction members Louis and Zayne, than his music, but the UK based producer has won over everyone with the sudden release of his latest single ‘Runnin’ (Lose It All)’ for quite a few reasons:
But the main reason’s without a doubt, the presence of the one and only Mrs Carter, aka Beyonce, who’s very prominently present on the track. Add also the stunning vocals of upcoming singer songwriter Arrow Benjamin, and you’ll find that the outcome of these three together is quite electrifying and astonishing.
Yes, the production is very signature Naughty Boy, but the vocals of both B and Arrow (equally amazing), and the inspiring lyrics make ‘Runnin’ (Lose It All)’ a big crowd pleaser and for definite hit in the making.
It’s out now:
If you haven’t heard Mary J Blige’s latest album, we urge you to do so, as its undoubtedly one of the best albums in the American singers repertoire to date. Teaming up with a group of some of the finest current British talents, including Sam Smith and Disclosure, The London Sessions is pure class from straight to finish.
Prime example, is ‘A Whole Damn Year’, written by Emeli Sande and produced by Naughty Boy, a classy R&B ballad, which was teased in September as a first glimpse of Blige’s ‘London Sessions’ .
The video, which premiered on the singer’s official Youtube account this morning, features several scenes of individuals suffering from domestic violence and depression. A very strong and empowering video for a song which shares the same qualities.
