It took quite a bit of time for Austrian drag queen Conchita Wurst (real name: Tom Neuwirth), to release the follow up to her Eurovision winning entry ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’, but the bearded lady’s been touring all of Europe since she won the contest, and having worked together with a variety of artists including the fashion designers Karl Lagerfeld and Jean Paul Gaultier.
But Fraulein Wurst has been in the studio too, having released the fresh new single ‘Heroes’, which couldn’t be more different from ‘Rise Like A Phoenix’. It’s a lot more mid tempo and low key than her winning Eurovision bid, but there’s something very intriguing about the single too. Especially now it’s been given a black and white video too, of which the concept is simple but also very classy. We’re liking where Conchita is heading too.
