The reigning Eurovision champion is returning to the annual Eurovision event held in London on April 26.
What a year it’s been for Conchita Wurst. The world has literally been on her feet since she took the eurovision trophy for Austria back in May last year. So what better way to say thank you for the UK’s douze points and support, Conchita has now been confirmed by the London Eurovision Party organizers to return to the UK’s capital city, where she’ll be performing together with stars of the 2015 contest and several guest performers on April 26.
As one of the highlight preview parties of the Eurovision season, the annual London Eurovision Party will be held for the 8th time this year, and will be presented by Nicki French, UK representative in 2000 and BBC commentator/ radio presenter Paddy O’Connell in venue Cafe de Paris.
Apart from Eurovision winner Conchita, 2007 Greek representative Sarbel and 2012 Maltese candidate Kurt Callja the 2015 representatives and (potential future winners) from Switzerland (Melanie Renee), Cyprus (John Karagiannis) and the Czech Republic (Marta Jandová and Václav Noid Bárta) have been confirmed to sing their entries at the annual event.
