Reigning Eurovision champ Conchita Wurst will have to pass on her crown of Eurovision winner coming May, but that doesn’t stop the bearded drag queen from continuing to promote equality and diversity
Releasing ‘You Are (Unstoppable)’ as lead single from her upcoming debut album, Conchita’s found a way in which she can express what she’s been promoting the last 12 months, since she won the Eurovision; She’s been a main figure for tolerance , freedom of expression, equality and diversity.
Quite literally inspired by her winner speech in May, ‘You Are (Unstoppable)’ is a midtempo orchestrated pop track with a message about equality. The lyric video, premiered this morning, portrays a range of individuals holding an ipad with Conchita’s beard in front of their mouth.
‘You Are (Unstoppable)’ is the lead single for Conchita’s debut album, out May 15. Ahead of the release the singer will return to the London Eurovision Party April 26, before welcoming the delegations of 40 nations in Vienna, where the 60th Eurovision Song Contest will be held in May.
